Bóbr is an international red-carpet phenomenon, the face of the hit party card game Beaver Fever™. Known for his pearlescent golden teeth and disarming charisma, Bóbr blends glamour with mischief becoming a pop-culture icon for both tabletop gaming communities and movie-goers alike.

Early life

Bóbr was born in a riverside lodge in Beaver Woods. Raised by a family of dam engineers, he showed an early flair for drama—often rearranging twigs in the family's home for reenactments of his favorite movie scenes, resulting in minor, sometimes not-so-minor leaks. His first recorded appearance was in a woodland public awareness campaign encouraging responsible log recycling.

Career

He rose to fame in 2005 after being cast in Harry Bóbr and the Goblet of Water. Critics described his debut as "shockingly expressive for someone with such big teeth." Shortly after that he took the role of the tragic protagonist in the critically acclaimed Damception. In 2007 he starred in the short-lived television series Game of Logs, then took a small but nevertheless memorable role in the 2008 summer blockbuster B2: Floodgate Day.

In 2010 he surprised both critics and audiences by stepping onto the stage in the revival of the musical classic The Beaver King—showing off his till-then-secret singing abilities.

In 2012—preparing for the world's scheduled end—he bought a small private island in the Maldives and set up a camp for himself and his 700 most loyal followers to retreat from the world… to spiritually prepare for the (then thought-to-be-inevitable) apocalypse.

In 2015 he dipped his claws into a totally new genre—horror—and played a live-aboard hotel janitor/wannabe author who is turning insane from being cut off from the world. The Biting was a huge success at the box office and was praised by critics. It opened new doors for Bóbr; he wasn't just a set of pretty incisors anymore.

In 2017 after a rather lengthy and even more secretive casting process he ended up landing the title role in James Bóbr: Bite Another Day, taking the mantle from his predecessor Pierce Brosdam.

Since then, Bóbr has played in numerous films and streaming shows, cameoed across several swim-coms, hosted the most prestigious award shows, and patroned international charity events.

In 2023, rumors surfaced about a remake of the legendary cinematic remake of the classic 1990s television series Mission: Impawsible. Bóbr was reportedly the producers' first choice for the lead, though insurers pushed back due to his insistence on performing all his own stunts—even the ones underwater.[1]

In 2026 he created and published the card game Beaver Fever™, which took the world by storm.[3] With its fast-paced, no-turns mechanic and revolutionary snatch-to-win twist, Beaver Fever™ quickly became the go-to party game for every crowd. The cards feature artistic reinterpretations of legendary frames from Bóbr's silver-screen career. For younger players the game quickly became synonymous with the film star's persona, while for older fans it evoked nostalgic memories of many of their favorite cinematic experiences.
